5-Step Master Setup

The IBO Player Setup Process — Identical on Every Device

Once you understand these five steps, you can set up IBO Player on a Samsung Smart TV, a Formuler Z11, an Amazon Firestick, an iPad or a Windows PC. The flow is the same everywhere.

  1. Install the IBO Player app Open your device's app store — Samsung Tizen Store, LG Content Store, Google Play, Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore or Huawei AppGallery. Search "IBO Player" or "IBO Player Pro" and install the free app. The publisher should be "IBO Solutions LTD".
  2. Open IBO Player and copy your MAC ID + Device Key Launch IBO Player. On first boot the welcome screen shows two long codes: MAC ID (12 characters with colons) and Device Key (8 characters). Take a clear photo with your phone — you'll send these to our activation team.
  3. Send your codes to Toronto Premium IPTV by WhatsApp Message us at +1 (514) 447-7860 with the screenshot. Our Toronto activation team will load your subscription onto your device within 5 minutes — usually faster during business hours.
  4. Restart IBO Player Close the app fully and reopen it. IBO Player will pull your full channel list and VOD library from our Canadian CDN. First sync typically takes 60–90 seconds.

Device-by-Device Notes

Smart TVs (Samsung Tizen & LG webOS)

From the home screen, navigate to the Samsung Tizen Store or the LG Content Store. Search "IBO Player" — it appears as a free download. On Samsung models from 2018 onwards, IBO Player supports 4K HDR playback natively. If your TV is older than 2018, install IBO Player Pro (the .tpk sideload version) instead — we'll WhatsApp you the file.

Android TV Boxes (Formuler, YOKA, MAG, NVIDIA Shield)

From the Google Play Store, search "IBO Player". On Formuler Z10, Z11 Pro Max BT1 and Z12 Ultra, IBO Player is pre-installed — just open it. On YOKATV IPx2, IPx3 and IPP1, also pre-installed. On generic Android boxes you may need to enable "Apps from unknown sources" in Settings → Security before installing the .apk we send by WhatsApp.

Amazon Fire TV Stick (4K and 4K Max)

Fire TV uses Amazon's own app store. Search "Downloader" first, install it, then use Downloader to fetch the IBO Player .apk from our activation link. Fire Stick 4K Max handles IBO Player at full 4K 60fps with HDR10+ — perfect for sports.

iPhone & iPad

From the Apple App Store, search "IBO Player Pro". The iOS version supports AirPlay to a Smart TV, picture-in-picture, and even Siri voice search. The same MAC ID + Device Key activation flow applies.

Windows & Mac PC

Download the IBO Player desktop client from the activation email we send. Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+ are supported. Use Chrome's "Cast" feature to mirror IBO Player to a Chromecast-enabled TV.

What internet speed do I need?

IBO Player adapts the stream bitrate dynamically. As a guideline: 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for stable 4K, 50 Mbps for 4K HDR with multiple simultaneous streams in the household. Toronto Premium IPTV's Canadian CDN edge servers in Toronto and Montreal ensure low-latency delivery to any GTA address — most Rogers Ignite or Bell Fibe customers stream without any tweaks.

Troubleshooting in 30 seconds

  • Channels buffer? Reboot your router, switch to Ethernet if possible, then restart IBO Player.
  • EPG empty? Pull-down to refresh the EPG, or close + reopen the app to trigger a full guide sync.
  • A specific channel won't load? Try another channel; if only one fails, WhatsApp us and we'll refresh the source server within minutes.
  • IBO Player won't open? Clear app data (Android), or uninstall + reinstall (iOS / Smart TV). Your activation persists — we don't need to re-authenticate the MAC ID.
