DMCA & Copyright Policy — Toronto Premium IPTV

Last updated: January 1, 2026

Toronto Premium IPTV respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and rights holders. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the Canadian Copyright Act and equivalent copyright legislation. This policy explains our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims.

1. Our Content Licensing Position

Toronto Premium IPTV operates as a lawful reseller of IPTV subscription services and does not host, store or originate the content delivered through the Service. All channels and video-on-demand content are sourced from licensed content providers and distributors. We are committed to ensuring our operations respect applicable Canadian and international copyright laws.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (Takedown Notice)

If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe content accessible through torontopremiumiptv.ca infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent.

Your notice must include ALL of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the infringing material — the specific URL(s) or sufficient information to locate the allegedly infringing content on torontopremiumiptv.ca.
  3. Your contact information — full name, mailing address, telephone number, email.
  4. Good-faith statement — that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement — that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Signature — physical or electronic.

Submit your notice to:

Email: [email protected]
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice — torontopremiumiptv.ca

We acknowledge valid notices within 5 business days and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content and notifying the relevant content provider.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to [email protected].

Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the removed content — description, URL(s) and prior location.
  2. Statement under penalty of perjury — that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
  3. Your contact information — full name, address, phone, email.
  4. Consent to jurisdiction — a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada and will accept service of process from the original complainant.
  5. Signature — physical or electronic.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content at our discretion.

4. Repeat-Infringer Policy

  • Accounts that are the subject of multiple valid copyright infringement notices will be reviewed.
  • Toronto Premium IPTV reserves the right to terminate subscriptions of users determined to be repeat infringers.
  • Termination for repeat infringement does not entitle the user to a refund.

5. Misuse of the DMCA Process

Filing a false DMCA takedown notice is a serious legal matter. Under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and Canadian equivalents, any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees.
